Smothered Seitan Chops

mushroom gravy
2 tablespoons olive oil
250g mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons wholemeal flour
1 loving cup soy milk
1 loving cup stock
tabular array salt together with white pepper

1/2 loving cup olive oil
five tablespoons arrowroot/tapioca flour
500g seitan, sliced into 1cm thick medallions
1 large onion, chopped coarsely
five cloves garlic, minced
2 cups stock
1 loving cup cabbage, finely chopped
2 jalapenos, minced (I used pickled ones)
2 tablespoons parsley, minced

Prepare the mushroom gravy inwards a medium-sized saucepan. Set that saucepan over medium oestrus together with warm upwards 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. Drop inwards the mushrooms together with saute them for five minutes. Add the other tablespoon of olive crude oil together with the flour together with stir them through the mushrooms; laid upwards them, stirring regularly for nearly 10 minutes. Gradually stir inwards the milk together with the stock, thence tabular array salt together with pepper to your preference. Simmer the gravy for unopen to xv minutes, continuing to stir it often. Take the gravy off the oestrus together with laid it aside.

Pour a substantial layer of crude oil inwards a large frypan together with laid it over medium-high heat. Place the arrowroot inwards a shallow bowl.
