Creamy Corn-Crusted Tempeh Pot Pie

three tablespoons corn flour
2/3 loving cup heavy cream (obviously vegan cream past times default, but nosotros had dairy cream to usage up)
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
three tablespoons olive oil
10 basil leaves, shredded
1 tablespoon sugar
