impressive array of vegan breakfasts. Even better, nosotros were scheduled to run into upwards amongst a posse of Sydney vegans, led past times Mandee from Cupcake Kitteh.
We started amongst coffees - delicious soy apartment whites that come upwards highly recommended. They were only the affair to wake me upwards plenty to human face upwards the massive array of brekkie options on the menu. It's a to a greater extent than frequently than non savoury range, amongst only buckwheat pancakes providing a sweetness alternative. Of course, this suited me fine, too subsequently some deliberation I settled on the 'morning after' giant fry-up (two Redwood sausages, 3 hash-browns, grilled tomato, sauteed mushrooms, wilted infant spinach, roasted pumpkin, home-cooked baked beans too toast, $14.90).
This was a massively hearty treat: some of the tastiest vegie sausages I've had, a saucy edible bean mix too an array of delicious vegetables. Throw inward some wonderful staff of life too 3 crispy niggling hash-browns too you've got ane of the best vegan breakfasts closed to (just hold off a span to a greater extent than posts for some other contender)
Cindy also went for a savoury treat, the B.L.A.T. (Redwood bacon rashers, lettuce, avocado too tomato plant served on 2 slices of sourdough amongst vegan mayo too dijon mustard on the side, $11.90).
This got the most order-envy of anyone's meal, a stunning sandwich of fresh too flavoursome salad too Redwood's tasty bacon rashers on some to a greater extent than first-class bread. It tasted every bit practiced every bit it looks - Cindy rated it the best BLT she's had since she went vego.
Everybody else was positive close their meals - Naked Espresso didn't seat a pes wrong. We couldn't bring kicked our Sabbatum off whatsoever better. We fifty-fifty got to rapidly run into cookbook writer too Naked Espresso co-owner, Leigh Drew. As good every bit the wonderful meal, it was peachy to run into upwards amongst a bunch of friendly peeps - Mandee too her buddies gave us lots of eating tips for the weekend ahead too took us on a vegan-sweet eating, op-shop browsing, coffee-drinking tour of Newtown too surrounds.
