February 4, 2008: The Eastward Brunswick Club

At this time, we'd arranged to come across upward amongst Mike too Jo-Lyn, Tracy too Lee too Daniel for the East Brunwick Club's weekly special of gratis pool, $10 jugs too $10 hot dogs. Ten bucks is arguably a fair fleck to inquire for a hot dog, but equally you lot tin plow over the axe catch they come upward amongst chips too salad. There are a few dissimilar varieties likewise - cheese kransky, not-so-American chilli, onetime skool, Greek agency and, nearly importantly, the Not-Dog.

So, how'd it stair out up?

• Chips: satisfactory, though non awesome. To live on fair, though, the bowl of chips nosotros ordered before were first-class too thence there's apparently about fluctuation.
• Salad: great.
• Frank: i standard-size, just what nosotros were looking for yesterday.
• Toppings: no sign of the promised "garlic mushrooms, roasted vegetables too melted imported Vegan cheese", but ketchup'n'mustard. The condiments were fine, but seriously - what gives?
• Bun: fancy sourdough. Cool for a gourmet sandwich, but impractically chewy here.

The vege Canis familiaris of pick clearly nevertheless resides at Bowl of Soul. But it's worth noting that the East Brunswick Club offers a publish of other veg*n-friendly meals on their touchstone menu, including a $17 vegan 'chicken' parma. It cannot become untested! (Nor has it, actually - Harriet too Kristy already dearest it.)
